13 DAY CLASICAL GARDEN

Day 1 Arrival in Beijing

Arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport. Our guide will greet you at the exit of Arrival Hall & transferred to your hotel. Free for the rest of the day. 

Day 2 Beijing

Full day trip to the Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven . Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.

The Tian'anmen Square

Tian'anmen Square is the large plaza near the centre of Beijing, China, named after the Tiananmen (literally, Gate of Heavenly Peace) which sits to its north, separating it from the Forbidden City.

 

The Forbidden City

This is the Palace Museum, also known as the Purple Forbidden City. It is the largest and most well preserved imperial residence in China today. Under Ming Emperor Yongle, construction began in 1406. It took 14 years to build the Forbidden City.

The Temple of Heaven

Temple of Heaven is the centre of imperial ritual ceremony for Ming and Qing Dynasties. The complex covers an area of 2.73 million square metres, stretching in the east-west axis 1,700 metres and in the south-north axis 1,600.

Day 3 Beijing
Full day trip to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb and Sacred road.


The Badaling Great Wall

One of the greatest architectural miracles in human history, the Great Wall stands as the most popular tourist attraction in modern China. The Great Wall is listed among the UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage sites given its historic status. Separated sections of the Great Wall were built as early as 2,000 years ago by small kingdoms to defend against raids from nomadic tribes to the north.

 

The Chang Tomb

The first tomb, Chang Ling (the Tomb of Chang) began to be built by the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty in 1409 AD (the seventh year of his reign)

The Sacred Road

Sacred Way is the first sight in the Ming Tombs, as it is the main road leading to the thirteen tombs.

 

Day 4 Beijing

Full day trip to Summer Palace and Hutong

Summer Palace

Yi He Yuan, or the Summer Palace, is the best-kept existing royal garden in Beijing. With a concentration of the best of ancient buildings as well as styles of gardening, it is a virtual museum of traditional Chinese gardening.

 

LamaTemple

Lama Temple building, with its unique blend of Chinese and Tibetan architecture, was originally constructed in 1694 as a home for court eunuchs. Once completed, however, it served as a court for Prince Yong, who later became Emperor Yongzheng. In 1744 the palace was converted into a lamasery and then became the national center of Lama administration

 

Day 5 Beijing/Hangzhou

 

After breakfast,take the flight to Hangzhou.Upon arrival,our guide will meet you and make the city tour to the WestLake.

 WestLake

The famous West Lake is like a brilliant pearl embedded in the beautiful and fertile shores of the East China Sea near the mouth of the Hangzhou Bay. The lake covers an area of 5.6 square kilometers. The view of the West Lake is simply enchanting, which offers many attractions for tourists at home and abroad. 

Day 6 Hangzhou

After breakfast,full day trip to the Lingyin Temple and Longjing Tea Plantation.

 Lingyin Temple

Lingyin Temple, west of the famous West Lake in East China's Hangzhou city, stands at the foot of the Beigao Peak and faces the Feilai (Peak That Flew Here) Peak across a stream. With many old trees, groves of bamboo, and quiet and beautiful surroundings, the Lingyin Temple is one of the most famous temples south of the Yangtze River.

Longjing Tea Plantation

Every year in Spring between March and end of May, the tea farmers of Hangzhou gets busy with the first picks of the Long Jing Tea in the near by terraces of Long Jing and Mei Jia Wu villages. While hiking in the terraced hills, you will be able to witness the tea picking and drying process which is not seen at any other time of the year

Day 7 Hangzhou/Huangshan

After breakfast,take the coach to Mt.Huangshan.Overnight at the top of the mountain.

Standing straight among the mountains in south of Anhui Province, the Yellow Mountain is well-known all over the world for its four scenic spots - pine forrest, strange stone, cloud sea and hot spring. It is one of famous mountains in China.

Day 8 Huangshan/Tunxi

This morning you should get up very early to wait for the sun rise.After breakfast,

the guide will bring you to visit the beautiful natural view.Then take the coach to Tunxi,visit the old town there.

 

Tunxi

Tunxi Ancient Street lies in the center of Tunxi district, where the municipality of Huangshan is seated. Starting in the west from Zhenhai Bridge, a stone arch bridge crossing the river which was built in Ming dynasty, and ending up in the east with    the tablet of memorial archways, it added up to 1273 meters long. Being well preserved, there are shops row upon row, with buildings simple and elegant. It is a commercial street only for pedestrians, with the building style of Ming and Qing dynasties, having the reputation of " The moving picture by the river on Pure Brightness" .

Day 9 Tunxi/Suzhou

 

After breakfast,take the coach to Suzhou.Upon arrive there,you will visit the one of China’s four famous gardens:Humble Administrator's Garden.

 

Humble Administrator's Garden

The Humble Administrator's Garden satisfies with the intellectual and emotional needs of ancient Chinese literati. The garden is laid out in imitation of natural beauties with bridges and pavilions. Artfully designed water courses around artificial hills and pavilions add radiance to the garden.


Day 10 Suzhou/Shanghai

 

After breakfast,visit Tiger Hill,after lunch,take the coach to Shanghai.

 Tiger Hill

It is said that there was a white tiger coming to the hill to guard it following the burial of King Helü hence the name of Tiger Hill. One thousand years ago, Su Dongpo , the famous litterateur in the Song Dynasty said that it is a great pity for one if he comes to Suzhou without visiting Tiger Hill. The hill was crowned as the No. 1 Scenic Spot in Suzhou for its beautiful scenery and long history

  

Day 11 Shanghai

 

Morning flight to Shanghai,after Visit Yu Garden & Xintiandi.


Yu Garden

Yu Garden has a history of more than 440 years. It is the biggest Jiang Nan Style Garden in Shanghai. It is so much full of Chinese traditions that it is famous across the world. It has been visited by numerous Chinese and foreign including British Queen Elizabeth II, Former American President Bill Clinton, Former Japan Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, Former German President Roman Herzog.

Xintiandi

A pedestrian street composed of traditional street format of Shanghai ¡Shikumen¡ and modern development.

Day 12 Shanghai

Have a city tours to the Bund, Nanjing Road .
